If you’re like me and think the green chile dip from the store is never hot enough (pictured below), then this recipe is the one for you. Or, maybe you can’t even get green chile dip at your local supermarket? If you’re having your buddies over for the game, or need to bring a snack to a relative’s birthday party, then this is your snack. There is usually an empty container after a few people have gotten to it. Tastes best with your favorite potato chip with ridges.
1-pint Sour cream
1/2 cup Hatch Green Chile or any other New Mexico variety. (Roasted, peeled, seeded, chopped)
1 packet (1.1-oz) Hidden Valley Ranch Party Dip mix
Combine sour cream, green chiles and dip mix.
Stir to blend.
Chill for at least 1 hour.
Makes 2-1/3 cups.
