(June 6, 2016)—Albuquerque, NM— Slate street cafe is tucked into a quiet street in downtown Albuquerque. Surrounded by trees and homes that welcome you with stings of lights. When you walk in, you’ll be amazed to find at how spacious the restaurant is. The bottom floor has tons of seating plus a private room for parties. Upstairs is their wine loft with open seating and a relaxed vibe. Wine is their main offering to drink here and their flights are to die for. If you are more of a beer drinking, don’t worry! They have a few local beers on tap as well as many in bottles. The food is so creative and delicious. Mixing regular well known recipes, with New Mexican creativity and flair.
My personal favorite is the prime rib delight sandwich. A giant portion of delectable shaved prime rib on a crispy on the outside soft on the inside baguette, and mixed with cheese and the ever delicious New Mexican green chile. A heaping portion of fries will leave you full and so delighted. The service is fast and friendly so the whole experience is always even better. So go, discover a delicious gem hidden in downtown Albuquerque.
