Coach Carlos came to the New Mexico Stars in 2015. He was brought to coach the offensive by Head Coach Adrian Perez. Carlos has a great career as a player and began coaching in 2013. His offense is exciting, an aerial attack. Carlos played college at: West Texas A+M as a receiver and at Kilgore College as a receiver and quarterback. In 2007 he was invited to the Kansas City Chiefs training camp. In 2008 he was in training camp with the St Louis Rams. He has played in the AFL, IFL, UFL, CPIFL, and CIF for his 8 years in the indoor game. The Kansas Coyotes, whom Carlos was a receiver for, moved him into a coaching position. The Coyotes folded mid-way through Carlos second season. In 2015 he played for San Angelo Bandits. Carlos has earned many awards as a receiver. He was All-IFL and All-CPIFL.

DeAndre Wright is the New Mexico Stars Assistant Head Coach/Defensive Coordinator. Although he was born in Washington, DC, Coach Wright has numerous ties to the state of New Mexico. Shoulder injuries impacted his career during his senior year. Wright was still able to get drafted after rough senior year in the 2009 NFL Draft, in the 6th Round by the New York Giants. But spent majority of his NFL career with the Minnesota Vikings for two years from 2009-2011.
