BLAKE’S LOTABURGER LAUNCHES NEW GREEN CHILE TARTAR SAUCE

Award-Winning NM-Based Burger Chain Known for Its Hatch Valley Green Chile Brings Signature Ingredient to First Green Chile Tartar Sauce in Region

Albuquerque, NM, — January 2017 – Blake’s Lotaburger, the iconic New Mexico hamburger chain known for its award-winning Green Chile Cheeseburgers featuring its signature Hatch Valley Green Chile, is spicing things up on their fish menu. The restaurant chain has introduced a new Green Chile Tartar Sauce – marking the first and only tartar sauce in the region to feature the ingredient in its secret recipe, and delighting fans of the fiery hot green chile with this unique and delicious new option for its fish sandwiches and fish boat menu items. The new tartar sauce, which will be in stores beginning January 16th through the end of June, was specifically created for Lent, and will be available at all of Blake’s 76 locations throughout New Mexico, Texas, and Arizona.

The perfect addition to Blake’s popular fish sandwiches and fish boats, the new green chile tartar sauce features the restaurant chain’s legendary Hatch Valley green chile which is specially grown, roasted and packaged for Blake’s Lotaburger. Throughout its long history, Blake’s Lotaburger’s special green chile menu items have been recognized with numerous awards, including named by National Geographic as the “World’s Best Green Chile Cheeseburger”, voted “Best Green Chile Cheeseburger in New Mexico” in the USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, and voted best burger, best green chile burger and best breakfast burrito in the Albuquerque Journal Readers’ Choice awards.
