Beef and Green Chile Stew Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 lb Round steak; cut into 11/2” cubes
  • 1 tbsp Flour
  • 1 Onion; chopped
  • 2 Whole Cloves Garlic; minced finely
  • 3 tbsp Lard or Butter
  • 1-4 Cups New Mexico Green Chile; roasted, seeded & chopped

Preparation Instructions

  1. Dust meat with flour. Brown with onion and garlic in lard or butter.
  2. Combine the meat and remaining ingredients in slow cooker with 2 cups water.
  3. Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours.
  4. Serve when meat becomes tender enough to fall apart.
  5. Enjoy!
