Green Chile Salsa

(July, 14 2016)—If you ever wanted to know how to make the “good stuff”, now you know.Here is one of the most traditional New Mexican salsa recipes that you can find. It’s very simple to make, and very tasty. You can always put your own spin on it if you’d like as well.

Yield: Approximately 2 cups

Freezes Well

  • 2 large tomatillos, chopped
  • 1 Cup Chopped New Mexico green chile*
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 2-6 Large Jalapenos

1. Combine all ingredients in a medium-sized mixing bowl and marinate for at least 15 minutes.

**Optional: Serve Warm

*Varied amounts may be used.
